Greetings, Cookie Friends!
I hope your December has been full of merriment and cheer! We are back with our second ever Kids’ Corner e-mail, and we can’t wait to share one of our favorite holiday cookies with you all! Just a reminder that we want to see all your creations, so please tag us in any pictures you post on social media and use hashtag #cobblestonekitchenbakes, or e-mail me pictures! (emily@cobblestonekitchen.com). Have a friend you think would enjoy baking along? Forward this e-mail to them so they can join in the fun! Winter break is coming up, so bake with your kids, grandkids, friends, neighbors – anyone! It seems everyone has this recipe in their Holiday cookie repertoire, and there are several good reasons for that! They are easy to make, festive, and (most importantly) delicious! We love Sally's Baking Addiction and have been reading her blog/following her on Instagram for years. She has so much helpful information about baking cookies, so I recommend everyone check her out!. Here is her recipe for Chocolate Crinkle Cookies, which will not disappoint you! We only had one minor powdered sugar “explosion” during the making of these cookies, so I consider that a success when baking with a 3 and 5 year old! I wish the same luck upon you. Finally, our last coupon code of the year is MERRY. Use that at checkout today through Friday, December 16 as you buy a box of cookies for your friend, neighbor, sanitation workers, or YOU! The code is good for 10% off one box of our Original Cobblestone Cookies. Please enjoy this very staged photo of my kids enjoying the fruits of their cookie labor.
